White House says Democrats will fail to undo Trump's achievements
After the Republican Party lost its majority in the US Congress in the midterm elections, the White House said Democrats will not be able to reverse President Donald Trump's accomplishments. The statement claims any impeachment attempts or efforts to overturn his policies will fail.

The administration of US President Donald Trump has published a statement claiming that the Democratic Party will not succeed in "undoing the achievements" of the head of state. The text appeared on the White House website after the midterm elections to the US Congress, in which Trump's Republican Party lost its majority in both chambers. This means advancing the president's agenda is set to become harder.
What the statement says
The White House writes that every time "the radical left, fake news and professional panic-mongers" have written the president's obituary, they were wrong, and that they will be wrong again. The statement stresses that during the final two years of his term, Democrats will try to reverse everything Trump has achieved, but will fail.
Among Trump's achievements, the White House lists border security, an end to DEI policies (programs on diversity, equity and inclusion), energy independence, child protection and other matters.
The document also says that attempts to impeach the president, overturn his policies or nullify his administration's gains will meet the same fate as earlier efforts by the radical left: failure. It concludes that President Trump will never stop fighting.
What came before
On 4 November, Trump gave lengthy remarks, which were devoted not to the Republican defeat in the midterms but to justifying his plan to build a large ballroom at the White House. Earlier, the US leader had said he was ready to cooperate with the Democrats.
