The international painting plein air “Valdis Bušs” has concluded with an exhibition opening at Balvu Manor. This year, six artists from different countries participated. Over ten days, they stayed in Latgale, mainly in Viļaka, where they not only painted but also explored the local nature and the creative legacy of the renowned Latvian painter Valdis Bušs. The aim of the plein air was to honor Bušs’s work and allow artists to draw inspiration from his art and the landscapes of Latgale. The final exhibition at Balvu Manor enables visitors to see the works created during the event and to experience the diverse artistic perspectives influenced by Bušs’s legacy and the Latgale environment.
