Barcelona nearing agreement to sign Arsenal's Jesus
Barcelona are close to completing a deal worth around 10 million euros to sign Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal. The transfer is expected to be finalised before Tuesday's deadline.
Spanish champions Barcelona are in the final stages of negotiating a move for Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus, with the deal reportedly worth around £8.6m (roughly 10 million euros).
While some details of the agreement still need to be worked out, both clubs are expected to complete the transfer before the deadline passes on Tuesday.
Italian side Napoli had also expressed interest in signing the Brazil international, but Jesus is now set to join Barcelona, who won the Spanish league title last season. The forward is scheduled to undergo a medical examination on Monday, a standard step before finalising any transfer.
