Basketball player Raivo Kudrjavcevs to continue career in US college
Latvian point guard Raivo Kudrjavcevs, 18, plans to play in the NCAA for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's "Mocs". This season he plays for "Rīgas ekselences juniori".

Latvian basketball player Raivo Kudrjavcevs intends to continue his career in the United States, representing the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga team "Mocs" in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The 18-year-old point guard announced this on Thursday.
This season's numbers
This season Kudrjavcevs plays for "Rīgas ekselences juniori". In three Latvian-Estonian League games he has averaged 13.7 points, 5.7 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 31 minutes per game. His three-point shooting stands at 35.7%.
Previous season
Previously the Latvian represented "Rīgas zeļļi", where his role was smaller and his three-point accuracy was the same, 35.7%. He spent most of his time with the club's second team, which played in Latvia's second-strongest league. In 14 games there, all of them starting in the first five, he averaged 18.9 points, 5.2 assists and 4.9 rebounds in 32 minutes.
International experience
At this summer's European U-18 Championship, Kudrjavcevs was the third-best passer, averaging five assists per game.
