Two three-year-old girls leave Bauska kindergarten without supervision

On Monday, two three-year-old girls took advantage of an incomplete fence and left the territory of 'Pasaulīte' kindergarten in Bauska.

On Monday, June 30, an incident occurred at the 'Pasaulīte' kindergarten in Bauska when two three-year-old girls left the premises without adult supervision. According to the Bauska municipality, the children exploited the fact that the fence around the territory was not fully closed. The information was provided to LETA by the local government.

The girls were soon found safe. No further details about their whereabouts or any possible security breaches have been disclosed yet. The municipality has promised to conduct an additional investigation to determine the causes of the incident and prevent similar occurrences in the future.

The event has raised concerns about kindergarten safety and the adequacy of fencing around such facilities. Parents and the public are awaiting explanations from the educational institution and the municipal authorities.
