Power outage in Bauska region affects around 2,200 customers

A grid fault left roughly 2,200 customers without electricity in the Bauska region on Wednesday morning. Grid operator Sadales tīkls says crews are working to restore supply.

A fault in the electricity grid disrupted power supply for approximately 2,200 customers in the Bauska region on Wednesday morning, state-owned grid operator AS "Sadales tīkls" announced on social media.

The outage affected residents in the areas of Gailīši, Īslīce, Brunava and Cerauksti parishes. The company said its technicians are already working on site to fix the fault and restore electricity supply as quickly as possible, though no specific timeframe for restoration was given.
