AS "Sadales tīkls" has announced that from July, planned inspections of power lines will be carried out across the country, including in Bauska district. The work will involve drones and a helicopter. These inspections provide precise information about the technical condition of the lines, which is essential for timely maintenance planning. The planned flight routes are published on the company's website. Landowners whose properties will be crossed by the flights will be notified in advance via text message or email if they have registered in the client portal. Owners have the opportunity within 15 days of receiving the notice to individually agree on access to the grid, placement of cut trees and bushes, and preservation of certain plants. The company urges residents to be understanding, as drone use is a crucial part of grid maintenance to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply.
