Bauska Hospital's Iecava Branch to Become Iecava Clinic from July 1

The Iecava association administration announced on Facebook in early June that from July 1 this year, the Iecava branch of SIA "Bauskas slimnīca" will be renamed "Iecavas klīnika". The name change is linked to the fifth anniversary of Iecava's city status and the hospital's goal to improve healthcare accessibility in Iecava.

The hospital emphasized that there will be no significant changes for patients – the healthcare provider remains SIA "Bauskas slimnīca", with the same legal status, contracts, range of services, and obligations. The changes only affect communication and visual identity. From July 1, the name "Iecavas klīnika" will be used in public communication, with full reference to SIA "Bauskas slimnīca". The new name will be gradually introduced on the website, informational materials, signage, and documents.

The news portal "Bauskas Dzīve" contacted the hospital with questions about the reasons for the renaming, patient benefits, visitor numbers, most demanded services, waiting lists, and future development plans. The hospital's public relations and marketing specialist Lāsma Vindule responded that more detailed information will be provided to the media and the public on July 1.
