Bazara 0 Fight Club to double camera count for fourth combat show
Bazara 0 Fight Club, which sold out Xiaomi Arena in January and set a Latvian pay-per-view record, holds its fourth fight night on September 12 with upgraded broadcast technology and several high-profile bouts. Organizers say the event could mark the end of an era before considering international expansion.
Combat entertainment organization Bazara 0 Fight Club holds its fourth event on September 12, continuing rapid growth that began with a small show on Elizabetes Street and reached a sold-out Xiaomi Arena in January. Organizers say that show generated over 5,000 pay-per-view (PPV) purchases, suggesting an additional 15,000-20,000 viewers.
Improved broadcast
This time the team is doubling its camera count to 12, using cable cams, cube cameras and cinematic footage. Broadcasts will include locker-room feeds with coaches' comments during breaks. The arena's central cage will be covered with octagon-shaped screens to improve visibility for spectators.
Main bouts
In the evening's headline fight, organization leader Daņiks Vesņenoks—who chose the matchup himself—will face Ukrainian bare-knuckle fighter Bovar Hanakov. Elsewhere, Brazilian Joilton Luterbach will fight Francis Rozentāls, while a rematch between Zaur Javadov and Kristaps Zīle will be judged by international referees from the Glory organization. The card also includes a so-called hype fight between Kristaps Zutis and Kaspars Kambala, plus a grappling duel between Edgars Skrīvers and Peruvian Jesús Paucarcaja Lopez, who replaces the injured Olympic athlete Armands Zvirbulis.
Looking ahead
Organizers acknowledge the upcoming event could mark the end of an era, after which they will decide whether to continue locally or pursue international growth—including a possible show in Dubai. Producers emphasize that Latvia has competitive video professionals and lower production costs, which also attract foreign clients.
