BBC Sport has confirmed it will again be the only free-to-air home of Women's Super League football this season, broadcasting 25 live matches across BBC TV and iPlayer. The season opens on Saturday, 5 September, with Chelsea taking on Aston Villa at 12:35 BST.

A new addition this year is The Women's Football Fallout, a 15-minute segment following every live BBC game, offering fan reaction and analysis from pundits including England greats Fara Williams and Steph Houghton.

BBC is also launching a dedicated Women's Football YouTube channel, featuring original video content, extended highlights from every WSL match, plus interviews and features. The channel will host a new weekly series called The Debrief, bringing together well-known WSL duos and friends to discuss the relationships behind the games, complete with challenges.

The same channel will carry video versions of the Women's Football Weekly podcast, which is moving to a Monday release on BBC Sounds to wrap up the weekend's action. Host Ben Haines and former Lionesses top scorer Ellen White will be joined each week by guests from across the sport to discuss news and developments.

On the website and app, senior women's football reporter Emma Sanders will continue covering transfers, interviews and analysis. New this season, fans will be able to follow dedicated pages for their own clubs on the website and app. Additional content will also appear on TikTok and Instagram, alongside a new fan chat page for discussing WSL talking points.
