BBC podcast previews the new Premier League season
BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast reviews the upcoming Premier League season, discussing Manchester City's Community Shield loss and Hull City's return to the top flight.

In the 17 August episode of BBC Radio 5 Live's "Football Daily" podcast, host Mark Chapman is joined by former goalkeeper Joe Hart, ex-defender Chris Sutton and journalist Adam Crafton to preview the new Premier League season. The panel attempts to work through all 20 clubs, with Sutton offering his predicted final table.
Much of the conversation focuses on Manchester City's defeat to Arsenal in the Community Shield and what it generally takes for a club to successfully defend a Premier League title. The panel also discusses whether new Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso can replicate what Antonio Conte achieved when he took the club from a tenth-place finish to the title the following season.
Hull City assistant head coach Dean Holden joins the show to talk through the club's preparations for a return to the Premier League. The hosts additionally weigh Coventry and Ipswich's prospects of avoiding relegation, question whether Aston Villa will begin the season fielding two players considered first-choice goalkeepers, and debate which club is most likely to underperform expectations this season.
