BBC Sport has launched a daily football quiz titled "Who am I?" designed to challenge fans. The rules are straightforward: each day features a new footballer, and participants must guess their identity in as few attempts as possible.

After each incorrect guess, a new clue is revealed. The fewer clues needed to reach the correct answer, the more points the player earns. Three attempts is considered a good score, while four or five is exceptional.

Today's player is a World Cup star, with clues prepared by BBC Sport's Joe Rindl. The quiz is part of BBC Sport's broader collection of football and sports quizzes, available on dedicated pages. Users can sign up for notifications to receive the latest puzzles directly to their device.
