Belgium's e-peas secures €19.2 million to scale ultra-low-power energy harvesting solutions
Belgian fabless semiconductor company e-peas has raised €19.2 million to accelerate commercial growth, enter new international markets, and diversify its product portfolio.
e-peas, a Belgian fabless semiconductor company specializing in ultra-low-power energy harvesting and power management solutions, has closed €19.2 million ($22 million) in funding. The investment will be used to scale commercial growth, expand into new international markets, and diversify the product offering.
The funding round was led by Crédit Mutuel Innovation, with support from its Belgian branch, alongside SFPI, the Belgian state investment company. e-peas designs chips and solutions that harvest energy from ambient sources such as light or temperature differences, enabling battery-free or extended-battery-life devices.
The new capital will help e-peas accelerate market adoption of its technologies and strengthen its position in the sustainable energy solutions sector.
