Three people were killed and 25 others injured in an overnight drone attack on the Russian city of Belgorod, regional authorities reported on Sunday. Acting Governor Alexander Shuvayev said the strike caused fires to break out in two apartment buildings, which emergency crews later put out. He added that numerous residential and non-residential structures sustained damage.

Over 150 drones intercepted

Russia's Defense Ministry stated that more than 150 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight across the European part of the country, as well as over annexed Crimea, the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

In the port city of Novorossiysk on the Black Sea, a key export hub for Russia, falling drone debris hit two facilities, according to Mayor Alexander Kravchenko, who did not specify which sites were affected.

Separately, in Russia's Bashkortostan region, a Ukrainian drone reportedly struck a building under construction along with a crane in the city of Ufa, state news agency RIA cited local emergency services as saying.
