Belohvoščiks Becomes Latvian Champion in Individual Time Trial for First Time
Kristiāns Belohvoščiks won the Latvian elite men's individual time trial championship on Monday, held for the first time on a public road near Cēsis.

The Latvian Road Cycling Championships individual time trial took place on Monday in a new location, outside the traditional Biķernieki track, in the Cēsis area. The 34-kilometer elite men's race was held on a public road, marking the first time the event has been staged on open roads.
The winner and new champion is Kristiāns Belohvoščiks, who earned his first Latvian elite champion title. Organizers noted that the move to a public road provided new challenges for participants and offered more realistic racing conditions.
