The multi-stage cycling race in Romania continued with the third stage. The stage was 157.8 kilometers long and featured four categorized climbs. The winner was Italian Lorenzo Mark Fine from team Red Bull - Bora - hansgrohe, who completed the distance in 3 hours 47 minutes and 52 seconds. South African cyclist Byron Munton (Modern Adventure) finished second, nine seconds behind, while Spaniard Pablo Torres (UAE Team Emirates - XRG) was third, 50 seconds back.

Latvian rider Aleksandrs Belohvoschiks, representing Bike Aid, finished in a group that lost 15 minutes and 20 seconds. Given his profile is more suited to bunch sprints, this result was expected. In the general classification, Fine became the leader, 36 seconds ahead of Munton. Belohvoschiks is in 96th place, 15 minutes and 31 seconds behind.

The four-stage race will conclude on Tuesday.
