Bending Spoons agrees to acquire collaboration platform Miro for €1.7 billion
Italian tech conglomerate Bending Spoons has signed a definitive all-cash agreement to acquire workspace platform Miro at an enterprise value of €1.7 billion. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approvals.

Milan-based technology conglomerate Bending Spoons has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Miro, an AI-driven collaboration and innovation workspace, in an all-cash transaction valuing the company at €1.7 billion, roughly $1.4 billion. The boards of both companies unanimously approved the deal.
The transaction remains subject to standard closing conditions, including regulatory approval, and is expected to be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2026. Until then, both companies will continue operating as separate, independent businesses.
Miro's scale and revenue
Bending Spoons CEO and co-founder Luca Ferrari said Miro is used by more than 250,000 organizations and has grown to around $600 million in annual recurring revenue, with close to 90% coming from business and enterprise customers. Following the closing, Bending Spoons intends to invest heavily in improving the platform's performance, reliability and functionality.
Miro CEO and co-founder Andrey Khusid noted that the platform, founded fifteen years ago, now serves nearly 4 million paying users across every industry and region, including over 750 customers each generating more than $100,000 in annual recurring revenue.
Part of a broader acquisition strategy
Founded in 2013, Bending Spoons has completed more than 50 acquisitions in recent years, building a portfolio that includes Eventbrite, Vimeo, WeTransfer, Evernote, Komoot, AOL, Brightcove and StreamYard. Earlier this year the company filed for an IPO on NASDAQ, and in August it raised over €500 million in debt financing to fuel further acquisitions. Just weeks before the Miro announcement, it had already agreed to acquire Vimeo for €1.1 billion.
