Children's Hospital Foundation looks back on 25 years: donations exceed €37 million
Over the past 25 years, the Children's Hospital Foundation has collected more than €37 million in donations and helped thousands of children. To mark the anniversary, the foundation held a family day called "Healthy Together" in Uzvaras Park.

A quarter-century of achievements
The foundation's latest summary shows that donations have surpassed €37 million since it began its work. These funds have gone toward supporting children and improving healthcare facilities. In total, thousands of children have received assistance, and several major construction projects have been completed. These include the renovation of the Parents' House and the Oncology Department, as well as the construction of the Outpatient Health Centre and the Emergency Centre. Alongside these, many other important projects have been carried out to advance children's health care.
Anniversary celebration in the park
On Saturday, 1 August, the foundation celebrated its 25th anniversary with a family event titled "Healthy Together" at Uzvaras Park. The gathering was a way for families to learn about the foundation's work and mark the milestone. The celebration highlighted both the achievements of the past years and the contribution of donors whose generosity made the projects possible.
Looking ahead
After 25 years, the foundation has a substantial portfolio of completed projects and steady public support. While a great deal has already been accomplished, the results provide a strong basis for continuing to assist children and further develop health-care infrastructure.
