Latvians Bērziņš and Bulgačs finish fourth at Futures event in Belgium
Latvian beach volleyball duo Arnis Bērziņš and Artis Bulgačs placed fourth at the FIVB Futures tournament in Belgium.

Latvian beach volleyball pair Arnis Bērziņš and Artis Bulgačs, seeded seventh, finished fourth at the FIVB Futures tournament in Belgium on Sunday.
In the group stage, they defeated teams from the Netherlands and Belgium to advance to the second elimination round. In the quarterfinals, they beat Moldova's Iegor Dobtsii and Maxim Korsakov (seeded eighth, qualifiers) 2-0 (21:10, 21:18).
The semifinals saw them lose 0-2 (16:21, 16:21) to Belgian hosts Gilles and Louis Vandecaveye (third seeds). In the bronze medal match, they fell 1-2 (16:21, 21:15, 13:15) to another Belgian duo, Kyan Verckauteren and Joppe van Langendonck (first seeds).
For their performance in Belgium, the Latvian pair earned 280 world ranking points. The Pro Beach Tour ranking tiers are Elite 16 (highest), Challenge, and Futures.
