Former England international Sterling to appear in court

Former England national team player Raheem Sterling is set to appear in court over an incident in late May on the M3 motorway, where he crashed his Lamborghini. No one was injured in the accident.

Former England forward Raheem Sterling will appear in court over charges connected to an incident that occurred in late May on the M3 motorway in Britain. The footballer was involved in a road accident while driving his Lamborghini. No other vehicles were involved, and no one was injured.

Current career status

Sterling is currently without a club and a free agent. Over the course of his career, he has played for some of English football's biggest clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal. With Manchester City he won four Premier League titles. After leaving English football, he signed a short-term deal with Dutch club Feyenoord, where he spent the closing stretch of last season.

International record

For the England national team, Sterling has made 82 appearances and scored 20 goals. He was part of the squad that reached the World Cup semi-final in 2018 and the European Championship final in 2020. He has also previously been awarded an MBE in recognition of his work combating racism and inequality in sport.
