Former Los Angeles hospital transformed into immersive art exhibition
The 'Hospital of Emotions' turns the former St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles into an interactive art exhibition exploring grief, resilience, and personal memories.

In Los Angeles, a former hospital has been repurposed as an immersive art experience called 'Hospital of Emotions'. Spanning four floors, the exhibition features about 80 installations created by 70 artists. Each room is dedicated to a specific emotion, converting former wards, emergency rooms, and treatment spaces into colorful displays incorporating flowers, hospital equipment, projections, and interactive elements. Visitors are invited to reflect on memories, grief, and resilience while exploring spaces that were once clinical. The installations draw inspiration from both personal and shared experiences, offering an emotional journey through art.
