Bison Attack in Yellowstone: Grandfather Tells Grandson to Run While He Charges Animal
Last week, a 65-year-old man was attacked by a bison in Yellowstone National Park, suffering severe injuries that required emergency surgery.

A 65-year-old man, identified as Karls Izoms-Makdenjels, was attacked by a bison in Yellowstone National Park last week. The animal hooked the man with its left horn and tossed him several meters into the air. While social media users speculated that the victim had approached too close to the bison, eyewitness accounts suggest otherwise.
The man had come to the park with his grandson, intending to show the boy America's untouched wilderness. According to witnesses, the grandfather instructed his grandson to run in one direction while he himself moved in another, possibly attempting to divert the animal's attention.
Following the attack, the man was rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery. Further details on his condition have not been released.
