On August 13, a solar eclipse was observed in many parts of the world, becoming one of the day's major media stories. In Iceland, the viewing took on a distinctly artistic and musical character.

Culture journalist Eva Johansone traveled to Iceland to document a one-day festival called "Echolalia." Festival attendees had responded to an invitation from singer Björk to greet the peak moment of the eclipse by dancing together.

As a result, the celestial event in Iceland became a collective musical and movement experience, linking a natural phenomenon with an artistic performance. This approach allowed festival participants to experience the eclipse not only visually but also physically and communally.
