BMW M and BMW Motorrad honor Nürburgring's 100th anniversary with nine special models
BMW M and BMW Motorrad have unveiled a special "100 Jahre Nürburgring" series of six cars and three motorcycles marking the legendary track's centenary. The motorcycles will be limited to just 100 units each.

To mark the 100th anniversary of the legendary Nürburgring circuit, BMW M and BMW Motorrad have introduced a special lineup called "100 Jahre Nürburgring," featuring nine high-performance models.
Six cars and three motorcycles
The car lineup includes the BMW M2, M3 Sedan, M3 Touring, M4 Coupe, M5 Sedan and M5 Touring. The motorcycle range adds the BMW M 1000 RR, M 1000 R and M 1000 XR. All models share the historic Nürburgring Green finish, applied to the body or select elements, along with design cues inspired by the Nordschleife section of the track. The cars' interiors feature black materials with green and white accents, while the motorcycles come with carbon-fiber elements, special seats, and individually numbered "one of 100" markings.
Racetrack-derived technology
The BMW M2, M3 and M4 also showcase the new BMW M Ignite technology, which improves engine efficiency under heavy load and reduces fuel consumption without sacrificing performance. The manufacturer presents it as an example of motorsport-derived solutions being carried over into series production vehicles.
Limited motorcycle numbers
The motorcycle series will be especially exclusive, with each of the three models limited to just 100 units worldwide. They come equipped with the M Track Package, carbon wheels, and other anniversary-specific details.
The Nürburgring's Nordschleife section, nicknamed the "Green Hell," stretches 20.8 kilometers and includes 73 corners, making it one of the most demanding racetracks in the world. BMW M uses it to test chassis, engines, aerodynamics, brakes and thermal management under extreme conditions, with the resulting experience feeding into the development of production models. The anniversary series' motto — "Born on the Racetrack. Made for the Streets" — reflects BMW's philosophy of translating motorsport knowledge into vehicles built for everyday roads.
