BMW unveils its most powerful iX3 electric SUV, the M60 xDrive

German carmaker BMW has added the iX3 M60 xDrive to its Neue Klasse electric lineup, the most powerful version of the SUV. It has two electric motors, all-wheel drive and 603 horsepower.

Bavaria-based carmaker BMW is continuing to expand its Neue Klasse range of electric vehicles. The company has presented the iX3 M60 xDrive, the most powerful variant of the new electric SUV, developed with input from BMW's M division.

Power and drivetrain

The model is fitted with two electric motors and all-wheel drive. Its total output reaches 603 horsepower, making it the strongest version in the iX3 family.

Strong demand

The new iX3 SUV has already passed the mark of 100,000 orders within a short time of its debut. Against this backdrop, the manufacturer is now offering a sportier option for buyers who want higher performance.

The iX3 M60 xDrive is another step in BMW's electrification strategy, in which the Neue Klasse platform plays an important role. The information available about the model is limited, so other technical details, pricing and the start of sales are not yet known.
