BNB price swings between $700 and $780 as Binance launches new trading tournament
Binance Coin (BNB) has recently moved both above $780 and down toward $715, with sources disagreeing on its near-term direction. Meanwhile, Binance has opened a new HOLO trading tournament, and a separate press release promotes a token seeking a future Binance listing.

Conflicting data on BNB's price
Reports on Binance Coin (BNB) diverge sharply. Market analysis site AMBCrypto states that BNB rallied to $780 over the past week, breaking above its May high of $745 — a move it describes as a shift in the coin's longer-term downtrend. Since then, a retracement has pulled price back toward support zones around $700 and $670. Several technical indicators (CMF, OBV, RSI) reportedly remain bullish, with weekly-chart targets placed at $950-$960 and the psychological $1,000 level in view.
By contrast, a press release distributed via openPR claims that BNB traded near $715 on September 11, according to CoinMarketCap — roughly 40% below its October 2025 peak above $1,100. The same release cites analytics platform DappRadar projecting a September average around $580, within a $470-$715 range. The two sources therefore disagree both on the scale of the recent rally and on where BNB heads next: one expects further upside, the other points to stagnation or decline.
The Fed decision as a possible catalyst
The US Federal Reserve meets on September 15-16. Prediction market Kalshi puts an 80% probability on rates being held steady. According to the openPR release, similar flat-rate decisions have historically preceded gains in both Bitcoin and BNB within the following two weeks.
Binance opens a HOLO trading tournament
Separately, Binance has launched a new spot trading tournament for HOLO, an AI-driven ad-generation token that turns websites into short-form video creatives for platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Participants can share up to 400 BNB in token vouchers. HOLO currently trades around $0.07, with technical indicators showing a neutral-to-bearish picture, including a MACD death cross.
Promotional content tied to a Binance listing claim
It should be noted that the openPR piece discussing BNB is in fact a press release promoting a separate token, Pepeto, which claims to have raised over $10.9 million in presale funding and expects a future Binance listing. This information originates directly from the project's own representatives and has not been independently verified.
