Speaking on the Dazn broadcast, Jones said those rallies of big punches and combinations are what people will most remember about her, noting that this is exactly how she closed out her final fight.
American boxer Mikaela Mayer, who was also at ringside, said she was moved by the closing image of Taylor placing her gloves in the centre of the ring, describing the moment as feeling like watching a story unfold.
Taylor had long wanted to fight at Croke Park and had made clear that she wanted the stadium to host the final chapter of her career.
Former boxer Tony Bellew said he was certain Taylor would not return to the ring, though he suggested she could stay involved in the sport by mentoring younger fighters. He said she would always be available to offer advice and support, but that ultimately she would ride off into the sunset, adding that no one could deserve it more.
