Bournemouth's Scott Sidelined from England Squad with Thigh Injury
Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has pulled out of England's squad ahead of the Czech Republic match due to a quadriceps injury and could be out for six to eight weeks. Arsenal defender Ezri Konsa has also withdrawn.

Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, 23, has withdrawn from England's squad for Tuesday's Nations League match against the Czech Republic after sustaining a quadriceps injury. He is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks.
Scott impressed in his first full start for England as the team thrashed Croatia 7-0 on Saturday. He had already felt discomfort before kickoff but still played 70 minutes in central midfield alongside Elliot Anderson before being substituted.
Arsenal defender Ezri Konsa, 28, has also been withdrawn from the Wembley fixture and will return to his Premier League champion club for treatment.
England head coach Thomas Tuchel praised Scott highly following the Croatia win, pointing to his composure on the ball, sharp decision-making, confidence, work rate and overall completeness as a central midfielder. Scott earned his first England cap in a 2-0 win over the Czech Republic in Prague, followed by his first full start four days later.
He joins French forward Eli Junior Kroupi on Bournemouth's injury list; the 20-year-old has been out since suffering a foot injury during pre-season.
Bournemouth currently sit 17th in the Premier League, still without a win after five matches, having drawn three and lost two. Under manager Marco Rose, the club advanced past Lincoln in the EFL Cup and claimed a 2-1 win over La Liga side Real Sociedad in their European debut.
The Cherries face a packed schedule ahead, with nine matches between 10 October and 8 November, including four consecutive weeks of Wednesday or Thursday fixtures against Sturm Graz, AC Milan and Sparta Prague in the Europa League, plus a Carabao Cup fourth-round tie against Aston Villa. In the Premier League, they are set to play Chelsea, Sunderland, Manchester United, Leeds and Ipswich.
