A joint concert featuring Latvian pop-rock band Brainstorm and Estonian musician Andres Kõpper, who performs under the name Noep, will take place at Pärnu's beach stadium on 24 July 2027.

Founded in 1989, Brainstorm is one of Latvia's most internationally successful bands. In 2000, the group placed third at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "My Star," and its music has repeatedly reached international charts over the years.

Band vocalist Renārs Kaupers said Brainstorm has developed a special relationship with Pärnu, having spent considerable time there in recent years and come to know the city and surrounding region in a different light. Noep added that Pärnu has everything needed for a great show.

Concert organizer Andres Puusepp said Pärnu deserves a large-scale summer concert and expressed hope that the town, already known as Estonia's summer capital, could also become known as a city of concerts.

Ongoing partnership

The concert represents the next step in a long-term collaboration between Pärnu and Brainstorm. In 2025, the band's members became official tourism ambassadors for the Estonian resort town in Latvia, helping to promote Pärnu to Latvian audiences as an attractive holiday destination.
