Abele brothers shoot multi-part mystery series «Shadows of the Swamp»

Latvian directors, the brothers Raitis and Lauris Abele, have started filming a new multi-part mystery series, «Shadows of the Swamp». It is about ghosts of the past and is based on a book by Guntis Talers. According to the headline of the original report, a detective and a clairvoyant arrive at the swamp in the story.
The series is one of three new original productions whose funding was approved last year, in 2025, by Latvian Public Media, the organisation that brings together the country's public television, radio and online outlets.
