Carnival Youth Release Sixth Album "Labākā doma pasaulē"
Latvian band Carnival Youth has released their sixth studio album "Labākā doma pasaulē". It is the first album produced without a producer, and the launch concert will take place on July 3 at Mežaparks Green Theater.

Brothers Emīls (drums) and Edgars Kauperi (guitar), along with Roberts Vanags (keyboards) and Kristiāns Kosītis (bass), make up the band Carnival Youth. They released their sixth studio album "Labākā doma pasaulē" in May. The album took two years to complete, with song sketches collected over a longer period. Most of the recording was done in studios in Kuldīga, Latvia, and Cambodia.
This is the first Carnival Youth album created without a producer. Previously, producer Gatis Zaķis helped the band finish songs quickly. This time, the musicians took on the producer role themselves, allowing demos to "live" for a while and revisiting them after six months to see if they still liked them.
The album's launch concert will be held on July 3 at the Mežaparks Green Theater. In an interview, Emīls and Edgars Kauperi noted that the band is in an interesting phase both creatively and personally.
