Lielbārži Brothers Win at Baltic Sidecar Festival

On July 12, the Baltic Sidecar Festival took place at the Stelpe track, with World Championship participants Daniels and Bruno Lielbārži winning the top class.

On Sunday, July 12, the Baltic Sidecar Festival was held at the "Pīlādži" motocross track in Stelpe. In the fastest class, World Championship participants Daniels and Bruno Lielbārži claimed a convincing victory.

In the BV Pro class, the Lielbārži brothers dominated: in the first race they beat the nearest pursuers Markus Lihtsa and Markus Lamps by 49 seconds, and in the second race by one minute and ten seconds. Third in both races were Rihards Rupeiks and Markuss Tučis. In the BV Open class, which ran alongside the Pro class, the Estonian duo Mareks Pintsuks and Indreks Kīts won. They were followed by Viesturs Sedlenieks and Kristaps Abendrots, with Mareks Kīts and Indreks Kīts taking third.

In the combined races of other sidecar classes, Modris Štelle and Roberts Klāvs Užāns were victorious, winning the Veterans 50+ category. In the Veterans 60+ class, the Lithuanian brothers Liutaurs and Tautvids Spundzeviči prevailed. The BV Air class was won by Lithuanians Toms Miliškevičs and Laurīns Žalnerīūns, while the BV Women's class was topped by the Estonian crew Līsa Lāne and Olesja Sirje Lampa.

In the quadricycle competition, Q Open class winner after two races was Kārlis Neija, ahead of Kārlis Straubergs and Taralds Hellebusts. In Q Veterans, Lithuanian Arūns Sukis took first place.

In solo motocross, Edvards Bidzāns won both races in the Open 15+ class, with Roberts Lūsis second and Ričards Alens Gaļcins third. In Open 30+, Jānis Murāns was the winner. Ilgvards Vilciņš won the Veterans 40+ group, Finn Vesa Lindholm took Veterans 50+, and Lithuanian Egidijs Mačūns won Veterans 60+. The women's class was won by Estonian Mirela Pihlaka.

Among youth riders, Rajans Tahks won the MX65 class, and Karls Joseps Pajumā won MX85. The best-placed Latvian was Kārlis Bremze in fourth.
