Truck Crashes Into Boeing 727 Displayed at Brazilian Petrol Station
In Brazil, a 46-year-old truck driver, possibly after suddenly losing consciousness, crashed into an aircraft on display at a petrol station. Firefighters had to cut him out of the cab, and he was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A 46-year-old truck driver crashed into a Boeing 727 aircraft displayed at a petrol station in the city of Regente Feijó, in Brazil's São Paulo state, on Saturday, according to the British outlet The Sun. The driver was seriously injured, but nobody else was hurt.
How the crash happened
The incident took place at the Posto Rodomaster petrol station on the Raposo Tavares highway (SP-270). The driver may have suddenly lost consciousness at the wheel. He was driving a nearly empty truck, crossed the opposite carriageway, broke through the station gates and hit the nose of the grounded aircraft head-on.
The impact pushed the Boeing 727 back by about 15 metres and badly damaged its nose and landing gear. Station owner Moasir Adelino Barbosa, 65, said the plane effectively stopped the truck and prevented it from rolling down the steep slope behind the station.
Rescue operation
Firefighters had to cut the driver out of the severely crushed cab. He was conscious, had a deep head wound and was able to phone his employer. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The other aircraft on display at the station were not damaged.
A station with an aviation theme
The station is known for its aviation attractions and is nicknamed the "Boeing of the Road". It holds two former cargo Boeing 727-200 aircraft and an Embraer plane. The owner had earlier hoped to convert one of them into a themed hotel.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash, focusing mainly on the driver's sudden medical episode.
