Brazil Holds Presidential Run-off: Lula Against Flávio Bolsonaro
Brazilians vote on Sunday for their next president. The choice is between left-wing President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and right-wing Senator Flávio Bolsonaro.

Voters in Brazil, South America's largest country, head to the polls on Sunday to choose their next president. They must pick between the current left-wing President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and the right-wing Senator Flávio Bolsonaro. The outcome will decide who leads the country going forward.
The candidates
Lula da Silva is Brazil's sitting president and holds left-wing politics. His opponent, Flávio Bolsonaro, is a senator from the political right. He is the son of Jair Bolsonaro, a former president who is now imprisoned.
What came before
In the first round of voting on 4 October, Flávio Bolsonaro beat Lula by a narrow margin. That result left the presidency to be settled in the second round, which takes place on Sunday.
Two very different choices
BBC Americas correspondent Ione Wells, reporting from Rio de Janeiro, says voters are choosing between two very different candidates.
