Bristol's Astral Systems secures €26 million Series A for medical isotope commercialisation
British DeepTech firm Astral Systems has raised €26 million in Series A funding to bring critical medical isotopes to market by early 2027 using its modular MSF reactors.
Astral Systems, a British DeepTech company pioneering multi-state fusion (MSF) technology, has secured €26 million (£23 million) in Series A funding. The investment round was led by Mercia Ventures. The company intends to use the capital to commercialise critical medical isotopes by early 2027, scale production of its modular MSF reactors, and advance fusion research. This represents the first close of the Series A round.
