PM's visit and US greeting
On the same day, 24 August, British Prime Minister Andy Burnham is making his first international visit, traveling to Kyiv, where he is expected to announce the transfer of SCALP missile production technology to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio congratulated the people of Ukraine on behalf of the United States on the 35th anniversary of independence, emphasizing Washington's commitment to Ukrainian sovereignty.
