Cool Nights Expected in Latvia This Weekend, Wet Snow Possible Next Week
Forecasters say precipitation will be scarce in Latvia over the weekend, but nights will be chilly. An active cyclone approaching from the north on Tuesday may bring the first wet snow.

Weather in Latvia over the weekend at the end of the first week of November, and at the start of the new working week, will be shaped by an anticyclone, so there will be very little precipitation while nights remain cool. On Tuesday the situation will change: an active cyclone will approach from the north, and forecasters expect more frequent rain over a wider area. It may also bring the first wet snow of the season.
The week so far
The first week of November has been fairly calm. Some places saw light precipitation, a few nights brought slight frost, and at the end of the working week winds on the coast became gusty.

On Saturday and Sunday the sky will mostly be cloudy, though the sun will break through in places. Mainly in the eastern and central areas, clouds may bring light rain. Winds will be light to moderate from the west, gradually turning to come from the south on Sunday.
