Traffic light and turning lane to be built at Liepāja highway junction in Brocēni
Construction work has begun at the junction of the Liepāja highway and Lielcieceres and Liepnieku streets in Brocēni, Saldus municipality, aimed at improving traffic safety with a new traffic light and turning lane. Traffic is currently being directed using road signs.

Construction work is underway at the junction of the Liepāja highway (A9) and Lielcieceres and Liepnieku streets in Brocēni, Saldus municipality, with the aim of improving traffic safety at the site. The state joint-stock company "Latvian State Roads" (LVC) announced the works.
What the changes involve
A traffic light is planned to be installed at the junction, along with a turning lane intended to allow for safer organization of vehicle movement. During the construction period, traffic in the section is being directed with the help of road signs.
