Two-year-old child killed, nine injured in Brovary car crash
A two-year-old girl died and nine people were injured in a collision between a VAZ car and a bus in Brovary, Ukraine. The driver of the car, aged 29, veered into oncoming traffic, police said.

On Wednesday, June 19, at approximately 7:55 PM, a traffic accident occurred in the city of Brovary, Ukraine, resulting in the death of a two-year-old child and injuries to nine others. According to the police of Kyiv region, a 29-year-old driver of a VAZ car was traveling along Privokzalna Street when he crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a bus driven by a 54-year-old man.
As a result of the crash, the two-year-old girl died at the scene. The driver and eight passengers of the VAZ sustained various injuries. Investigators from the Kyiv region police have launched a pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which covers violations of traffic safety rules resulting in the death of a victim.
