Bucharest startup Veridion raises €17.5 million to grow its real-time business data platform
Romanian company Veridion has secured €17.5 million in Series A funding to expand its AI-driven system that continuously tracks 642 million businesses worldwide.

Veridion, a Bucharest-based company formerly known as Soleadify, has closed a Series A funding round worth €17.5 million (around $20 million). The round was led by Hoxton Ventures, with participation from existing backers Underline Ventures, OTB Ventures, Gapminder, Day One Capital, and Launchub.
Founded in 2019, the company had previously raised €5.19 million in February 2023 and €1.29 million in a 2020 seed round.
A continuously updated data system
Veridion describes its product as a "live business graph" — a constantly refreshed digital replica of the world's companies, currently covering 642 million businesses across 249 countries. Each company profile includes up to 461 data attributes, spanning legal registration details, operating locations, and corporate hierarchy.
The data is compiled by analysing billions of digital signals, including company websites, public registries, regulatory filings, product catalogues, social media profiles, and trusted news sources.
Responding to volatile market conditions
Company leadership argues that traditional market intelligence, often based on quarterly or annual updates, can no longer keep pace with rapid shifts in the global economy. As an example, Veridion points to disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, which can simultaneously affect international trade, insurance exposure, and supply chains for thousands of businesses worldwide.
The new funding will go toward product development, team growth, and international expansion. Veridion currently serves more than 100 organisations and employs over 60 people across Europe and North America, already its largest market. Its clients operate in fields including market intelligence, insurance, risk management, and supply chain operations.
