Bulgaria is leaving the Good Will Coalition dedicated to supporting Ukraine, Prime Minister Rumen Radev announced on Tuesday. He stated that his country does not wish to participate in a coalition that insists on continuing financial and military aid to Ukraine.

Radev emphasized that the solution to the conflict is not prolonging it with military means, but a strong diplomatic mission to end the escalation. His coalition "Progressive Bulgaria" won early parliamentary elections in April and gained a majority.

Until January, Radev served as Bulgaria's president and repeatedly criticized the European Union for continuing military support to Ukraine. The Good Will Coalition unites countries willing to contribute to Ukraine's defense, coordinate security guarantees, and develop a common approach toward a just and lasting peace.
