Tsahkna: Russia's goal is to leave Ukrainians without heat and light before winter

Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna (Eesti 200) has commented on Russia's latest overnight drone attack on Ukrainian territory, saying more than 260 attack drones were launched during the strike.
One of the most powerful strikes hit the village of Myla near Kyiv. At least 27 people were killed in the attack.
Terror and destruction
Writing on social media, Tsahkna said Russia's goal is obvious — terror and destruction. He argued that the repeated strikes on critical infrastructure this week point to a deliberate attempt to leave Ukrainians in cold, hunger and darkness ahead of winter. He stressed that the Kremlin's plan must fail.
Call for more pressure
The Estonian foreign minister called for increased pressure on Russia, tougher sanctions, deeper international isolation of Moscow, and no concessions whatsoever. He also emphasized the need for sustained and comprehensive support for Ukraine.
