Caune sets personal best, finishes 72nd in half marathon at World Athletics Championships

Latvian athlete Agate Caune set a new personal best on Sunday at the World Athletics Championships in Copenhagen, finishing 72nd in the half marathon.

The World Athletics Championships took place in Copenhagen on Sunday, featuring three Latvian athletes in the running events. Agate Caune achieved a new personal best time in the half marathon, placing 72nd overall.

Other Latvian competitors

Two other Latvian athletes also took part in the competition. Agata Strausa finished 89th, while Dmitrijs Serjogins placed 105th.

The event brought together runners from around the world competing in the half marathon distance in the Danish capital.
