Czech Muchova reaches first Wimbledon final
Karolina Muchova defeated Coco Gauff in the Wimbledon semifinals on Thursday to reach her first Grand Slam final on grass.

Czech tennis player Karolina Muchova defeated American Coco Gauff in the Wimbledon semifinals on Thursday, winning 6-2, 1-6, 7-6 (12-10). With this victory, she qualifies for her first Wimbledon final and her first Grand Slam final on grass.
Muchova dominated the first set 6-2, but Gauff fought back to take the second set 1-6. The third set was a tight battle, decided in a dramatic tiebreak that Muchova won 12-10.
This will be Muchova's first appearance in a Wimbledon final. She has never before played a Grand Slam title match on grass. Her opponent in the final is yet to be determined.
