Aelita, a 33-year-old photographer and videographer, had previously traveled to every train station in Latvia without a set route, simply getting off at each stop. This year, she decided to take on an even more ambitious adventure.

After a long, cold, and gray winter, Aelita realized she wanted sun and warmth. In May, she set off by train, covering approximately 1500 kilometers along the scenic Mediterranean coast. The trip lasted nearly three weeks and included four countries and nine cities.

In an interview with TVNET+, Aelita shared her experience about which trains were best and what to consider when planning such a journey. She said the idea came after a colleague told her about her son, who had participated in a European Union project and traveled by train across Europe. That sparked Aelita's interest and inspired her to go herself.
