The second day of the Lampa discussion festival in Cesis is in full swing, aided by warm and sunny weather. Attendees are showing great interest at all stages and tents, with many following discussions while standing, not just from seats.
The festival takes place at more than 60 locations simultaneously, hosting hundreds of conversations, debates, and workshops. This marks the 12th edition of the event in Cesis, featuring approximately 400 events at 66 venues. The central question of the festival is "What must we not talk about?", guiding a wide range of topics.
Lampa serves as a platform for free and respectful exchange of ideas, aiming to strengthen democracy and discussion culture in Latvia. It offers an opportunity for anyone with something to say or a willingness to listen to broaden their horizons and sharpen their thinking.
