The State Police’s Southern Vidzeme precinct is searching for Liene Janševska, born in 1995, and her 2.5-year-old daughter Elīza. The pair were last seen on 12 August in Cēsis, and their current whereabouts are unknown.
According to the police, Liene Janševska is approximately 175 centimetres tall, of round build, with long dark hair and freckles on her face. She was last seen wearing a red jumper, black leggings and white Adidas sports shoes, and carried a white handbag.
The State Police urges anyone who may have information about the possible location of the missing woman and child to come forward. Information can be provided by calling the emergency number 112 or the dedicated phone number 29150012. Police also ask the public to review the shared photographs of the missing pair and report any sighting.
