Four out of four: RFS and Liepaja advance to second qualifying round of Conference League
Latvian clubs RFS and Liepaja have advanced past the first qualifying round of the Conference League, while Riga will join them after their Champions League loss. A total of four Virsliga teams will compete in the second round.

Latvian football clubs continue their successful run in European competitions. RFS and Liepaja have both secured their places in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League after overcoming their first-round opponents.
Meanwhile, Latvia's strongest club Riga FC had an unsuccessful start in the Champions League, losing to Armenian side Ararat-Armenia in the first qualifying round. As a result, Riga will now drop down to the less prestigious Conference League.
Next week, Latvian Cup winners Auda will also make their debut in the tournament. This means that a total of four Virsliga representatives – RFS, Liepaja, Riga, and Auda – will compete in the second qualifying round of the Conference League.
