Two Narva Residents Lose €10,300 to Scammers on Thursday
Scammers posing as telecom employees, police officers, and bank staff tricked two Narva residents into handing over a total of €10,300.

Police reported that on Thursday, July 16, two residents of Narva fell victim to scammers. First, a man received a call from someone pretending to be a telecom company employee. The victim complied, handing over €2,800 to an unidentified person. In the second case, a woman was initially contacted by someone posing as a bank employee, followed by a call from a person identifying as Alexandra and claiming to be a police officer.
