Thursday's weather
The day will be dry and mostly sunny, with a light to moderate south-easterly wind. In Riga, where the sun will provide warmth, the temperature is expected to climb to about +19 degrees.
A cyclone is approaching from the west, so atmospheric pressure is falling. In the early morning it stands at 1011–1016 hectopascals at sea level.

In the coming days of October, temperatures will mostly fluctuate between zero and +15 degrees. Rain is expected at times.
Latest +20 degrees in autumn
Data from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre show that the latest date in autumn on which +20 degrees has been recorded in the country is 18 October. This happened in both 1949 and 2018.
